The phone will be available starting May 6th, which is next Tuesday for all you calendar-challenged folks, for $399 with a 3-year contract. Just shy of $400 isn’t too bad, but we wouldn’t sign a 3-year contract unless someone was holding us at gun point, so proceed at your own risk. Then again, this is one hell of a handset, and if official carrier support is your thing then this is pretty much your only option. | 08/23/2005 - Sony Ericsson W550 cell phone review |

| This a walkman phone, with Sony's walkman software allows you to operate and transfer audio files with ease. 1.3 mega pixel camera, Bluetooth, FM radio, No memory card slot, but has 256 MB built in memory. The phone comes with a very nice Sony Ericsson Headset with controls. This is a non-EDGE phone, meaning that the data transfer rates are slow, but the unit is cheaper. This cell phone will be launched as a triband. Cool looking phone and i think that Sony Ericsson is stepping up in their lineup. This cell phone will be a hit with the youth market and looks like it will be marketed to them. |

| 2 Mega pixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, auto focus, video and flash. Is this a cell phone or a digital camera? I find the phone to be a little large, but the camera is great. The screen swivels as so does the camera. What a cool looking phone, but its currently selling for $1500 CAD. Phone features include: Bluetooth, Edge, Video calling, MP3, MPEG4, 31 MB shared memory, uses RS-DV-MMC card included (only 64MB). The main screen is lovely at 256K colors TFT. The external display is 65K colors TFT display. |

| Wow! this phone says classy all over it. Its a little heavy, but that just makes it feel like a strong phone. The camera is an SVGA, 800x600 pixels, video (QCIF). The 64 MB internal memory is large enough to hold about 16-20 MP3 songs, there is no expansion slot for external memory card (thats not nice). The scratch resistant glass will keep this beauty looking nice longer. Features included are: Bluetooth, Durable stainless steel covers, FM radio, MP3/AAC player, Built-in handsfree, TFT 256K color screen. This phone currently sells for around $1200 and the price will be dropping fast. If you need the latest and greatest and have the money go for the Nokia 8800 cell phone. |

| The Nokia 6101 is such a nice phone at the price it's selling for. Got a chance to check it out today and its a good low end Nokia FLIP. The phone has 2 colour screens and the camera is 640x480 with video recording (128 x 160 pixels, Second external display 4096 colors (96 x 65 pixels). A new form factor is applied to this phone, so the charger is different than the previous models of Nokia phones. Features included: Mp3 Ringtons, Fast EDGE technology, FM radio, built in handsfree, 4.4 MB shared memory, 850/1800/1900 Mhz. Rogers Wireless has launched the Nokia 6101 and are selling it for $49.99 on a 3 year contract and for $249.99 No term. If you like Nokia cell phones and dont want to spend a lot of money go with this phone, its a good basic flip phone with 2 colour screens and a Video camera. Nokia 6101 unlocking is currently not available, but check back as this model will be available for unlocking shortly |
